Concrete-Pouring Operations Begin for the “Al-Ghadir” Service Complex Project with the Deputy Custodian of the Holy Alawi Shrine in Attendance

Concrete-pouring operations for the "Al-Ghadir" service complex project began with more than 3,000 cubic meters of concrete, in the presence of the Deputy Custodian of the Holy Alawi Shrine.

Engineering personnel from the Holy Alawi Shrine’s Engineering and Construction Affairs Department began the concrete-pouring operations for the “Al-Ghadir” commercial and service complex project, in the presence of and under the supervision of the Deputy Custodian of the Holy Alawi Shrine, Sayyid Eisa al-Khirsan, along with members of the Board of Directors — a step marking an important stage in the project’s completion process.

Mustafa Mahbouba, Head of the Engineering and Construction Affairs Department, stated in an interview with the News Center:

“More than 3,000 cubic meters of concrete were used in the concrete-pouring operations for this project, with 4 concrete plants and more than 100 mixer trucks taking part in the operation.”

He added:

“This project is being built on a 15,000-square-meter plot of land, and its design combines authentic Islamic architecture with the requirements of modern development, so that the complex becomes a comprehensive facility incorporating commercial, hotel, residential, religious, and service functions.”

He explained:

“This project includes commercial units, hotel rooms, residential units, a rest station, a large mosque, and a modern parking facility with a capacity of approximately 895 vehicles, which will help organize vehicle traffic and address the parking shortage in the old urban fabric of Najaf.”

The “Al-Ghadir” complex project is being carried out within the framework of the Holy Alawi Shrine’s approach to implementing service and development projects — initiatives aimed at improving the urban condition of Najaf and strengthening the services provided to the city’s residents and pilgrims.
