Alongside the commemoration of the anniversary of the birth of the Great Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) and Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), the Public Relations Department of the Holy Alawi Shrine presented gifts to a number of newborn infants at hospitals across Najaf province.
Karrar al-Musawi, head of the Internal Relations Unit, told the Shrine’s News Center:
“As part of the programs of the fifth International Two Sadiqs Week, the Holy Alawi Shrine congratulated the families of newborn infants and presented them with gifts.”
Al-Musawi added:
“A delegation from the Holy Alawi Shrine visited a number of hospitals in central Najaf and met with families who had recently welcomed a new child, in order to share in their joy. This program was carried out with the cooperation of the Religious Affairs, Vehicles, and Media departments.”
It is worth noting that this initiative was held as part of the programs of the fifth International Two Sadiqs Week — a week that the Holy Alawi Shrine has held for the fifth consecutive year, comprising a range of religious, cultural, and social programs and activities.
