As part of its efforts to develop the education sector in Najaf Ashraf province and to provide a comprehensive and distinctive educational environment for students, the Holy Alawi Shrine has carried out the “Holy Alawi Shrine Schools” project as an integrated educational system — one that brings together academic instruction, religious upbringing, talent development, and skills training.
Key features of the project:
– The Holy Alawi Shrine laid the foundation stone for this project on 22 Jumada al-Thani, corresponding to 4 Dey 1403.
– The educational system includes primary and secondary schools, Islamic schools for boys and girls, and a kindergarten.
– The complex has 12 specialized clubs for developing students’ talents and abilities, including a Holy Quran club, a science and technology club, and an English language club.
– The project includes specialized chemistry, biology, and physics laboratories, indoor sports halls, five-a-side football pitches and basketball courts, as well as a student club.
– The project was built on a total area of 9,750 square meters, with a built-up area of 7,390 square meters.
– The complex is built on three floors and comprises two schools, primary and secondary.
– The primary school has 30 classrooms, and the secondary school has 27 classrooms.
– The design of the project and the execution of its engineering, construction, and architectural work were carried out by specialized personnel from the Holy Alawi Shrine’s Engineering and Construction Affairs Department, under the supervision of the department’s specialized staff.
The Holy Alawi Shrine’s schools provide a comprehensive educational environment for raising a generation equipped with knowledge, values, and skills together.
