Sayyid Eisa al-Khirsan, Deputy Custodian of the Holy Alawi Shrine, welcomed a delegation of scholars from the Qom Hawza at the Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) Guesthouse.
During the meeting, a number of topics related to the “Millennium of the Najaf Hawza” were discussed, along with the programs and activities planned to mark the occasion both inside and outside Iraq.
The delegation also expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the Holy Alawi Shrine in preparing the “Millennium of the Hawza” project and in its official announcement.
The visiting delegation further praised the programs and activities accompanying the project, which reflect the standing of the Najaf Hawza and its scholarly and intellectual heritage and social role throughout history.
It is worth noting that the Holy Alawi Shrine has held the “Millennium of the Hawza” ceremony as part of a project aimed at strengthening religious awareness among future generations, preserving Islamic identity, and showcasing the scholarly and intellectual heritage of the Najaf Hawza built up over a thousand years.
