The Rasul al-Atham Medical Center, affiliated with the Holy Alawi Shrine, in cooperation with the Najaf Health Directorate, announced its full readiness to provide medical and health services to pilgrims visiting Najaf al-Ashraf to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) and the highly virtuous nights of Qadr.
In an interview with the Holy Alawi Shrine News Center, the head of the center, Dr. Jawad Esmaili, stated:
“The center has formulated a comprehensive medical plan that includes the opening and launching of several medical stations around the Holy Alawi Shrine. This action has been taken in coordination with various departments of the Shrine, the Najaf Health Directorate, and the Baghdad Health Directorate.”
He added:
“In this plan, four main medical stations have been opened: the Dar al-Shifa station, the Imam al-Ridha settlement station in Al-Hawli, the station located in the expansion area opposite the Bab Shaikh al-Tusi, and several other stations established in cooperation with health institutions.”
Dr. Esmaili explained:
“The Najaf Health Directorate has launched two medical stations at the Shaikh al-Tusi and Rasool interchanges, as well as a medical station in the Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) expansion square affiliated with Al-Hakim General Hospital. All these stations are equipped with medical equipment, medications, and essential supplies, and medical and nursing teams are stationed there to provide clinical services and first aid to pilgrims.”
He continued:
“The center’s plan includes a special program for emergency transport and patient transfer; to this end, small and large ambulances have been deployed in the Holy Alawi Shrine precincts in cooperation with the Machinery Department. Six large ambulances are ready for service to transfer emergency patients to public hospitals.”
Dr. Esmaeili also noted:
“In the implementation of this plan, more than 200 male and female honorary servants from the Qanbar Center are participating to strengthen the pilgrim service program and provide health services.”
These measures are part of the comprehensive service, health, and security programs of the Holy Alawi Shrine, aimed at ensuring the safety of pilgrims and providing them with the best services during the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).
