During these days, the pilgrimage atmosphere was maintained with excellent order, and the flow of pilgrim traffic was managed effectively. The implementation of a pilgrim grouping system after the completion of the pilgrimage also played a significant role in reducing congestion and facilitating movement across various sections of the Holy Alawi Shrine.
Strengthening Service Delivery
In order to enhance service delivery, the capacity of honorary volunteers was utilized alongside official staff, which led to an improvement in the quality of services and better coverage of different departments.
Organizing Devotional Ceremonies
Furthermore, special attention was given to the holding of congregational prayers and the Eid prayer. Appropriate spaces with the necessary facilities, proportional to the volume of pilgrims, were provided to create a peaceful and spiritual environment.
Ms. Ramla al-Khuzaie, head of the Women’s Department at the Holy Alawi Shrine, highlighted the continuous efforts of the staff and honorary volunteers, emphasizing:
“These measures have been taken to provide the best services to pilgrims and to ensure a safe, organized environment worthy of the pilgrims of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).”
