The Qanbar Residential Complex in Najaf al-Ashraf witnessed the commencement of the first phase of the “Alawi Youth” program, held under the supervision of the al-Muhsin Children’s Cultural Center, affiliated with the Holy Alawi Shrine. This program is a sustainable initiative aimed at developing the capabilities of adolescents and fostering their skills in an environment that bridges educational guidance and diverse activities.
The program’s executive director, Dr. Murtadha al-Khuzaie, explained that the first phase consists of three main courses: Sayed Al-Qasim (peace be upon him) course, the Sayed Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him) course, and the Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his noble reappearance) course. These are being held with the participation of 90 trainees, in addition to a number of other participants attending as part of the ongoing sustainable program.
Dr. al-Khuzaie also stated that the program includes a series of activities encompassing sports and recreation, as well as intellectual and cultural programs, competitions, and purposeful challenges. He emphasized that all these activities are carried out toward a common goal: serving adolescents and guiding them onto the right path.
The program is designed to strengthen participants’ skills through life experiences—experiences that help shape their character and develop their capabilities in a way that enables them to have a more positive presence in society.
