This campaign, which saw significant participation from women and children, has become a vivid display of human solidarity and compassion.
A Call to Solidarity
In response to the guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority, the Holy Alawi Shrine initiated this drive to assist those affected by war, particularly the people of Iran and Lebanon. This initiative reflects the high values of mutual aid and humanitarian responsibility.
The Role of Women and Children
Mrs. Ramla al-Khuzai, Head of the Women’s Affairs Department, stated to the shrine’s Media Center:
“This campaign met with an extraordinary response from various segments of society. Such an enthusiastic turnout demonstrates the vibrant spirit of solidarity and the community’s commitment to answering the call of the Supreme Religious Authority during times of crisis.”
She further highlighted the prominent role of women in providing donations and noted the touching, symbolic contributions of children, which beautifully reflected the deep-seated human values within the community.
Facilitating Contributions
Fateh al-Kermani, Head of the Gifts and Donations Department, emphasized that a specific collection point was established for female pilgrims to facilitate their participation along with their children. He noted that this step was taken to manage the increasing number of believers eager to respond to the religious call, ensuring the process remains organized and accessible for all.
