Holy Alawi Shrine Hosts “Meeting of the Servants” Cultural Program for Staff

The Religious Affairs Department of the Holy Alawi Shrine has launched a cultural initiative titled "Meeting of the Servants"

The primary goal of this program is to elevate the religious awareness and spiritual knowledge of employees across the Shrine’s various departments, ensuring that their growth reflects positively on the services provided to pilgrims.

Strengthening Faith and Practical Ethics

Yusuf al-Mousavi, Deputy Head of the Religious Affairs Department, stated to the shrine’s Media Center:

“This program focuses on reinforcing the doctrinal beliefs and jurisprudential knowledge of the servants. By studying the Sira (biography) of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), we aim to translate these divine teachings into practical behaviors within the workplace, making religious values a tangible part of daily operations.”

Refining Service and Conduct

A key objective of the initiative is to improve interactions with pilgrims by promoting Islamic ethics and a sense of professional responsibility. The goal is to ensure that the conduct of every staff member remains in perfect harmony with the sanctity of the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).

Scholarly Guidance and Continuity

Al-Mousavi also noted that these sessions are conducted by scholars and students of religious sciences, with topics specifically tailored to the diverse roles and levels of the Shrine’s staff. This program is part of a consistent weekly series of cultural activities aimed at continuously enhancing the skills and knowledge of the “Servants of the Shrine,” ultimately improving the quality of the pilgrimage experience.
