Meeting of the Deputy Custodian of the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin with the Mayor of Tehran

The Deputy Custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) met and held talks with the Mayor of Tehran.

Sayed Eisa Al-Khirsan, Deputy Custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), within the framework of the shrine’s relief campaign to support the families of martyrs, the wounded, and the affected people of Iran following the recent war, met and held talks with the mayor of the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Alireza Zakani.

The correspondent of the shrine’s News Center in Tehran reported:

“In this meeting, emphasis was placed on continuing the relief campaign – a campaign that includes honoring the families of martyrs, the wounded, and those whose homes have been destroyed. Also discussed was the matter of transferring and hosting these families to perform pilgrimage to the holy shrines), in cooperation and coordination with the Tehran Municipality.”

During this meeting, the project of raising flags for the blessed Eid of Ghadir in various districts of Tehran, especially those areas that have been subjected to bombings and destructive attacks, was also reviewed. Furthermore, support for the reconstruction and restoration process through the provision of light and heavy equipment and special supplies for construction and service affairs was another topic of discussion.

The Mayor of Tehran, while thanking the Deputy Custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the servants of the Alawi shrine, appreciated their solidarity with the people and their efforts in supporting the affected families.

It is worth noting that the Relief Committee of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) continues its humanitarian programs in various cities of Iran – a program that is carried out in the form of supporting and backing the families of martyrs, the wounded, and the affected, following field visits and the implementation of numerous programs and activities.
