With the presence of the custodianship of the Alawi Holy Shrine, his deputy, and department heads, the lottery ceremony for distributing more than 500 residential units designated for the servants of the Holy Shrine was held as part of the second phase of the Qanbar 2 residential complex project.
Sayed Isa al-Khirsan, Secretary-General of the Alawi Holy Shrine, stated during the ceremony:
“The distribution of this phase takes place approximately six months after the distribution of the first phase, and this project has been completed with extensive cooperation from the Engineering Affairs Department and other supporting departments.”
He explained:
“All executive staff were committed to completing the project within the specified timeline, and coordination and unity among the departments played a significant role in removing obstacles and resolving issues during the implementation phases, so that the project would be finished on schedule.”
Sayed al-Khirsan added:
“Today, coinciding with the blessed Eid of al-Adha, the names of the beneficiaries of these residential units were announced, and the units will be handed over to the winners within a maximum of one month after the lottery results are announced.”
Regarding the importance of this project, he emphasized:
“This initiative is part of the service programs of the Alawi Holy Shrine to support the servants and provide suitable housing for them, commensurate with their status of service at the Holy Alawi Shrine. It is also anticipated that more than 700 additional residential units will be distributed on the anniversary of the birth of Amir al-Muminin, Imam Ali (peace be upon him).”
It is worth noting that the Qanbar 2 residential complex project is considered one of the most prominent social and service initiatives of the Alawi Holy Shrine, implemented in line with the Shrine’s commitment to providing a sustainable and appropriate environment for the lives of the servants of the Holy Alawi Shrine, thereby strengthening the spirit of belonging and social stability.
