The Security Affairs Department of the Holy Shrine of Alawi has begun implementing its special security and service plan to welcome pilgrims to the holy shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) during the blessed Eid al-Adha.
The spokesperson for this department, Mustafa al-Fatlawi, stated in an interview with the shrine’s News Center:
“This plan includes organizing the entrances and exits leading to the Holy Shrine of Alawi in order to facilitate the movement of pilgrims and streamline the flow of crowds. Additionally, the pathways for coming and going have been marked using plastic barriers to prevent overcrowding, and all necessary facilities have been provided to create a safe and peaceful environment for the pilgrims.”
He added:
“This program encompasses various security, service, and executive axes. In this regard, service personnel have been extensively deployed inside and around the Holy Shrine of Alawi. Also, inspection systems have been activated at the entrances of the main streets and security gates.”
Al-Fatlawi continued:
“The wireless communications unit has also enhanced its activity to ensure fast and effective communication between all units and departments, as well as coordination with supporting bodies, so that immediate response can be provided in emergency situations.”
He emphasized:
“The security and tranquility of the pilgrims are ensured through an advanced system of surveillance cameras, which are tasked with monitoring the movement of the crowd and following up on the implementation of the plan. These measures are being carried out with extensive security coordination with the Najaf Ashraf Police Command and other relevant security agencies.”
It is worth mentioning that the Holy Shrine of Alawi, concurrently with the blessed Eid al-Adha, has formulated a comprehensive plan in the security, service, and medical fields to provide the best services to the pilgrims of the holy shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) and to provide all the necessary welfare facilities for domestic and foreign pilgrims.
