The custodianship of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) organized a mourning and memorial gathering on the occasion of the passing of the great religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Shaikh Mohammad Ishaq al-Fayyad (may his soul be sanctified).
This mourning ceremony took place in the courtyard of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), inside the Mosque of Imran ibn Shahin. It was attended by the Deputy custodian of the Holy Shrine, Sayed Isa al-Khirsan, his deputy, servants, board members, department heads, branch and unit officials, and staff of the Holy Shrine.
Also present at this memorial service were a number of prominent scholars, seminary students and professors, trustees of holy shrines and noble pilgrimage sites and their representatives, representatives of the Shia Endowment Office, tribal shaikhs and elders, officials, fighters, and servants of the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), all of whom took part in the ceremony.
