According to the Central News Unit of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, the Rasul al-Adam Medical Center, affiliated with the Imam Ali Holy Shrine and operating under the supervision of the “al-Nathm” Strategic Planning and Development Unit, has initiated an educational program aimed at advancing the competencies of its nursing personnel. The program is being conducted in coordination with the Hakim General Hospital in Najaf al-Ashraf.
Firas al-Hajjaj, Head of Training, explained to the Shrine’s News Center:
“This program consists of two primary components. The theoretical component includes daily instructional sessions dedicated to explaining vital signs and foundational scientific concepts accredited by academic institutions, with the objective of providing trainees with an accurate scientific basis prior to entering the practical phase. The practical component consists of daily training sessions lasting three to four hours within the emergency department, accompanied by direct observation and hands-on engagement with real hospital cases, as well as familiarization with the medical equipment used in service stations and healthcare centers during pilgrimages and religious occasions.”
Ali Mahdi, from the Training and Development Unit of Hakim Hospital, stated:
“The combination of theoretical and practical training provides trainees with a professional pathway and an integrated educational system that ultimately enhances the quality of services delivered to pilgrims.”
It is noteworthy that the Imam Ali Holy Shrine consistently endeavors to elevate the capabilities of its staff across all departments in order to provide the finest services to the pilgrims of the Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), particularly during periods of large-scale visitation.
