The al-Nathm Center of the Planning and Development Department, in cooperation with the Rasul al-Azam Medical Center, held a training course focused on health awareness for servants working in departments related to women’s affairs at the Holy Alawi Shrine.
The course aimed to promote a culture of preventive health and to instill correct, healthy practices within the family and workplace environments.
Rania al-Kaabi, Head of the Women’s Planning and Development Department, told the News Center:
“This course was held within the framework of development programs aimed at raising the level of health awareness among women servants. Accurate, scientifically grounded information was presented on strengthening preventive healthcare and the early detection of illnesses. Topics such as mental health, the proper culture of medication use, and maternal and child health were also addressed.”
Dr. Rifah Yassin, the course instructor, stated:
“This training program covered several specialized areas, including the fundamentals of public health and the necessary medical tests and examinations prior to marriage. The course concluded with a discussion of maternal and child health — a topic that helps raise participants’ health awareness and fosters a more informed and stable family environment.”
This course is part of a broader series of training and empowerment programs run by the al-Nathm Center of the Planning and Development Department, aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the female workforce and increasing their knowledge and awareness in areas related to daily life and community health.
