According to the Central News Unit of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, with the broad and active participation of the “Amin” Unit at the Shrine’s Center for Research and Biotechnology, the Department of Food Sciences at the University of Kufa convened its first autumn cultural student festival with the presence of students and various academic, research, and cultural institutions.
Adnan Kadhim, from the “Amin” Unit of the Research and Biotechnology Center, stated to the Shrine’s News Center:
“This center plays a significant scientific role in admitting students from the Department of Food Sciences and providing the necessary facilities for their research experiments. The Center is committed to supporting students’ scientific activities and to strengthening ongoing cooperation with the University of Kufa and the Department of Food Sciences in order to advance academic and research endeavors.”
Several institutions participated in the event, including the Colleges of Education and Medicine, Al-Kafeel University, specialized private companies, and schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education.
The primary aim of the event was to enhance the scientific competencies of students, reinforce the connection between the Department of Food Sciences and the broader community, and expand engagement with related institutions.
