The al-Nathm Center for Strategic Planning and Development at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, under the supervision of the Training Department, conducted a specialized educational course titled “Planning Engineering Projects Using Primavera P6.” The course was delivered by Engineer Karrar Abbas Anouz, a staff member of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, and was attended by a group of personnel from the Engineering and Construction Affairs Department.
Muhsin Baqir al-Hakim, the supervisor of this course, explained to Shrine’s News Center:
“This workshop was held over the course of nine days, with a total of eighteen training hours. It addressed key topics in the field of project management, including:
• Introduction to project management concepts
• Developing an organizational structure
• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) analysis
• Preparing an activity list and determining activity durations
• Establishing relationships between activities and creating a project timeline
• Preparing and printing the project schedule.”
Al-Hakim added:
“The purpose of this workshop is to enhance participants’ skills in planning and managing engineering projects, enabling them to prepare accurate schedules and monitor implementation stages using Primavera P6. This contributes to improving performance quality and achieving the objectives of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine in strengthening the capabilities of its engineering personnel.”
