The Prophet Muhammad Medical Center (peace be upon him and his family), affiliated with the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, announced the commencement of a comprehensive health program aimed at safeguarding the well-being of pilgrims visiting the Shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) during the celebrations of the Prophet’s mission.
24-Hour Medical Services
In a statement to the Shrine’s News Center, Dr. Jawad al-Ismaili, Director of the Medical Center, said:
“A comprehensive medical plan has been prepared in coordination with the Najaf al-Ashraf Health Directorate. This plan includes the deployment of medical units at key locations surrounding the Holy Shrine to provide continuous medical and health services to pilgrims around the clock.”
He added:
“Three medical units have been established around the Imam Ali Holy Shrine and within the old city of Najaf. These include the Dar al-Shifa unit, a unit in Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) Township designated for pilgrims, and another unit located above the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) overpass from the southern side of the Holy Shrine’s courtyard.”
Participation of 225 Servants
Dr. Ismaili further stated:
“In coordination with the Qanbar Center, 225 servants—comprising 125 men and 100 women—have been assigned to reinforce the medical teams. They will provide first aid services in emergency units and facilitate the transfer of critical cases to nearby medical facilities.”
These measures form part of the ongoing efforts of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine to ensure the highest level of healthcare and support services for honored pilgrims during major religious occasions.
