The al-Nathm Unit, in cooperation with the Qanbar Center—affiliated with the Special Unit for Volunteer Servants—held this educational workshop for staff members of the al-Mujtaba the Sibt (peace be upon him) Foundation. The workshop is being conducted over three days at the Imam al-Hasan (peace be upon him) Skills Development Complex.
In a statement to the Shrine’s News Center, Firas al-Hajjaj, the course instructor, explained:
“The aim of this workshop is to develop young people’s management and leadership skills by focusing on the core qualities and essential competencies of an effective leader, and by introducing four leadership models within an interactive training framework.
The program also includes practical exercises and a training manual, and targets members of volunteer groups in Iraq—particularly volunteers serving in holy shrines—thereby contributing to the enhancement of their leadership competencies and the improvement of their field performance.”
Approximately 20 participants are taking part in this workshop. The program is part of a broader series of training courses designed to strengthen the leadership capacities of youth and volunteers, in line with institutional work requirements and organized volunteer activities.
