Imam Ali Holy Shrine Hosts the “Alawi Youth Festival”

In support of youth capacity-building, the Imam Ali Holy Shrine sponsored the organization of the Alawi Youth Festival.

With the support of the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Imam al-Hasan (peace be upon him) City for Skills Development hosted the programs of the Alawi Youth Festival. The event was organized in cooperation with the “al-Nathm” Center of the Strategic Planning and Development Unit affiliated with the Holy Shrine, and the “Jawhar Al-Marifa” Foundation for Culture and Sustainable Development.

In a statement to the Holy Shrine’s Central News Unit, Hassan Haidar, Head of the Training Unit at the center, said:

“The program included the organization of a cultural camp in which several groups of young people participated, representing 30 intellectual, cultural, and religious institutions from various Iraqi provinces. The aim of holding this camp was to enhance the managerial and media capacities of youth, and it was organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him).”

He added:

“The program continued for three days and was attended by 60 young participants, who were divided—according to their areas of specialization—into two camps. The first focused on developing the managerial skills of institutional leaders, while the second was dedicated to enhancing the media skills of institutional media activists.”

The program concluded with a series of high-quality activities, including practical workshops in planning, media management, and media coverage, in addition to lectures and diverse intellectual and educational discussion sessions.
