The Qanbar Center, dedicated to honorary servants at the Alawi Holy Shrine, has announced the completion of preparations related to the pilgrimage ceremonies for the blessed Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadir.
In this plan, over 3,500 honorary servants will participate to provide the best services to the esteemed pilgrims and to support various departments of the shrine throughout these two occasions.
The director of the center, Ahmad al-Zurqani, stated in an interview with the shrine’s News Center:
“A comprehensive plan has been developed to participate in serving the pilgrims during the days of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadir.
The number of honorary servants during the days of Eid al-Adha will be approximately 1,750, and during the days of Eid al-Ghadir, 2,100 servants will have the honor of serving the pilgrims. These efforts are being carried out within the framework of a complete service and executive plan.”
He added:
“The honorary servants have been distributed according to the needs of various departments to support the services provided by the departments of service affairs, order maintenance, women’s affairs, guesthouses, as well as medical and specialized personnel related to safety and occupational health.”
The Qanbar Center possesses a comprehensive database of honorary servants from inside and outside Iraq, including both women and men, to facilitate the process of organizing affairs and dividing tasks with greater coordination and ease.
The honorary servants will begin their activities from the night of the crescent moon sighting and will continue serving until the end of the days of Eid al-Adha; simultaneously, special preparations for Eid al-Ghadir continue.
