The Media Department of the Alawi Holy Shrine introduced the programs of “International Ghadir Week” in its fifteenth edition and announced the details of these programs, which will be held inside and outside Iraq. Among the most important of these is the hoisting of the flag of the Greatest Eid of Allah in Iraq and various countries of the world through 150 locations and sites.
Haydar Rahim, head of the Media Department of the Alawi Holy Shrine, said in a press conference attended by a number of journalists from satellite channels, media outlets, news agencies, and content creators:
“The activities of International Ghadir Week are designed with the aim of establishing and strengthening the values of Wilayah and devotion to Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), and will include religious, Quranic, cultural, artistic, popular, service, humanitarian, and various programs specifically for children.”
He added:
“The most important part of these programs is the hoisting of the flag of this blessed occasion in 150 locations and gatherings inside and outside Iraq, including in European, Arab, and Islamic countries, all provinces of Iraq, near the holy shrines and noble shrines, as well as dozens of locations in the city of Najaf Ashraf.”
He also mentioned the implementation of a special program to hoist this blessed flag in 21 cities of Iran that have been targeted by the Zionist-American aggression. This program will be accompanied by the reception and support of the families of the victims of the attack on the school in the city of Minab—a humanitarian and compassionate initiative within the framework of the Alawi Holy Shrine’s relief campaign for the Iranian people, carrying a message of hope and embodying the meanings of Wilayah and adherence to the values of Ghadir.
The head of the Media Department of the Alawi Holy Shrine emphasized:
“During International Ghadir Week, we will also witness the performance of a field play involving 500 actors, which will continue for 15 days. This program will be held at the Al-Nakhil Resort complex, which has a capacity of over 5,000 people. In addition, social programs, weddings for the needy, cultural and intellectual activities, and various celebrations will be held in 16 locations in the city of Najaf Ashraf.”
It is worth noting that the programs of the Glorious Ghadir Week will begin tomorrow, Monday, with the hoisting of the flag of the Greatest Eid of Allah at the shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him). Simultaneously, this flag will be hoisted at the holy shrines, noble shrines, provinces of Iraq, and various countries around the world to announce the start of the celebrations of Eid al-Ghadir and the renewal of allegiance and Wilayah with Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).
