Coinciding with the conclusion of the final examinations for twelfth-grade students in Najaf al-Ashraf, the Holy Alawi Shrine concluded its special initiative to provide chilled drinking water at examination centers. The campaign was launched to support students and contribute to a better examination environment.
A Humanitarian Initiative
Mazin Al-Asadi, a member of the Public Relations Department, told the Shrine’s News Center:
“This initiative was launched in response to the intense summer heat and the shortage of drinking water at some examination centers, with the aim of providing direct support to students throughout the examination period.”
He added that the campaign was carried out in cooperation with the Najaf Directorate of Education, during which large quantities of chilled water were distributed across examination venues.
Supporting the Educational Process
Dr. Ammar Al-Arbawi, Director General of the Najaf Directorate of Education, expressed his appreciation for the initiative, stating:
“The Holy Alawi Shrine has consistently stood by students and the educational community during final examinations at various academic levels through its ongoing support and services.”
He noted that the Shrine provided more than 100,000 disposable cups to the Directorate of Education, which were distributed among students at all examination centers.
Al-Arbawi added:
“This initiative not only met the students’ immediate needs but also provided valuable support, particularly amid the high temperatures, helping to create a calmer and more comfortable examination environment.”
It is worth noting that this initiative is one of dozens of service programs implemented by the Holy Alawi Shrine to support various segments of society, particularly students. Through such educational and humanitarian initiatives, the Shrine continues to strengthen the learning environment and assist educational institutions in fulfilling their responsibilities.
