Continuing the implementation of its dedicated service program for the days of Arbaeen, the Holy Alawi Shrine has launched a new phase of its services by establishing a station for distributing blessed meals among pilgrims walking toward holy Karbala. This effort is carried out in support of providing the best possible services to Arbaeen pilgrims.
The head of the Warehouses Department of the Holy Alawi Shrine, Abd al-Rasul Jawad, told the News Center:
“This service station has been established at the Miqdad Warehouse Complex, located along the route to holy Karbala at Pillar 234.”
He added:
“For a period of about 10 days, this department prepares and distributes three meals a day for pilgrims.”
He continued:
“At each meal distribution, between 2,000 and 3,000 meals are provided to pilgrims, playing an important role in meeting the needs of those making their way to the magnificent Arbaeen ceremonies.”
The head of the Warehouses Department also noted that all of this station’s services are carried out in a spirit of cooperation and solidarity, with the participation of the department’s servants and volunteer workers, in service of the pilgrims of Imam al-Hussain (peace be upon him).
He concluded by emphasizing that the Holy Alawi Shrine, by mobilizing all of its departments and capacities, remains at the service of al-Hussaini Arbaeen pilgrims — pilgrims who choose the sacred shrine of Amir al-Muminin Ali (peace be upon him) in Najaf as one of the most important spiritual stations on their path toward holy Karbala.
