The Dar al-Quran Unit of the Holy Alawi Shrine, as part of its Quranic and scholarly programs and in cooperation with cultural institutions, held several specialized sessions in the city of Baghdad. The sessions aimed to raise Quranic awareness and to improve the scholarly and intellectual level of those active in the Quranic field.
Alaa Muhsin, head of the Dar al-Quran Department of the Holy Alawi Shrine, told the Shrine’s News Center:
“One of these sessions was held in cooperation with the ‘Inma’ Cultural Institute at the Dar al-Quran unit located in the al-Sha’b area. Its subject was professional ethics in Quranic activities, and Dr. Sayyid Sadiq Murawwij delivered the lecture.”
He added:
“Another session was held in cooperation with the Union of Reciters and Quranic Activists of Iraq (Rusafa branch). In addition, a specialized scholarly session, with a lecture by Dr. Sayyid Hussain al-Hakim, was held for Quranic instructors, focusing on the scholarly and professional aspects that help raise their knowledge and experience and strengthen their capabilities in teaching the Quran.”
These sessions are held as part of programs that the Dar al-Quran of the Holy Alawi Shrine, drawing on the valuable sciences of the seminary, is consistently committed to carrying out in various provinces of Iraq. The target audience of these scholarly and specialized sessions is Quranic instructors and teachers.
Through these programs, the Dar al-Quran of the Holy Alawi Shrine continues its efforts to spread Quranic culture, establish authentic Quranic values, enhance the capabilities of those active in this field, and strengthen the standing of the Noble Quran in society.
