On the night of the martyrdom of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him), a vast multitude of pilgrims and mourners from various places gathered at the Holy Alawi Shrine; in an atmosphere filled with grief and sorrow, they mourned and commemorated around the holy tomb of His Eminence.
During the observance of vigil of the second Night of Qadr, Alawi mourners placed the Holy Qurans on their heads in the Holy Alawi courtyard and sought intercession from God Almighty.
