The Gift and Donations Department, affiliated with the Financial Affairs Directorate of the Holy Alawi Shrine, announced that the process of collecting aid to assist the people of Lebanon and Iran is ongoing. This initiative, which commenced on the second day of the Blessed Eid al-Fitr, aims to alleviate the suffering, hardships, and challenges faced by those affected by current events.
Fateh al-Kirmani, the head of this department, stated in an interview with the shrine’s news center:
“Following the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority Ayatollah Sayed Ali al-Sistani regarding the necessity of standing by and supporting the victims within the nations of Lebanon and Iran amidst the continuous aggressions against these two countries, the Gift and Donations Department has been receiving both cash and in-kind donations since the second day of Eid al-Fitr.”
He further added:
“The department has established a specific mechanism for receiving these contributions in accordance with set regulations. Donors are welcomed around the clock at the Gift and Donations office within the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him). Furthermore, the possibility of receiving donations through a special international aid bank account has been provided, and official receipts are issued via a dedicated electronic system designed for the registration and documentation of all aid.”
