The Women’s Dar-al-Quran continues its specialized initiative to train reciters from the Pakistani community, specifically focusing on the young learner age group. This program is conducted through a comprehensive training course that bridges the gap between scientific mastery and aesthetic performance.
Institutionalizing Quranic Culture
The head of the Women’s Dar-al-Quran Unit, Ms. Dalal al-Tabatabaei, explained:
“This program focuses on training participants to recite selected portions of the Holy Quran according to the rules of Tajwid, with particular attention to correct pronunciation and the points of articulation of the letters.”
She added:
“Furthermore, the course works on enhancing vocal skills and training in Quranic melodies, which plays a significant role in nurturing their abilities and flourishing their recitation talents.”
Honoring Outstanding Students
These efforts culminated in a ceremony where the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) honored the participating young learners. This recognition was aimed at appreciating their excellence and commitment throughout the training course, as well as motivating them to continue their journey in the service of the Book of Allah.
This initiative is part of the ongoing programs of the Dar-al-Quran, reflecting its endeavor to raise a conscious, Quranic generation that possesses both technical accuracy in recitation and beauty in performance, embodying the sublime spiritual values of the Holy Quran.
