The Women’s Affairs Department at the Holy Alawi Shrine welcomed a delegation from the al-Zahra (peace be upon her) Quranic Sciences Institute affiliated with the Holy Imam al-Hussain Shrine. This meeting was held under a program aimed at strengthening ties between women’s religious institutions and exchanging experiences.
Ramla al-Khuzie, head of the department, told the shrine’s news center:
“The Women’s Affairs Department has a special program for receiving delegations, particularly those from counterpart departments at the Holy Alawi Shrine, which fosters joint cooperation and enhances institutional performance.”
Al-Khuzie added:
“The visit also featured recitations from the Holy Quran and a mourning gathering for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), recalling his pure way of life, in collaboration with the Religious Affairs Department. This event aligns with joint efforts to revive religious occasions and entrench Quranic culture.”
This activity forms part of a broader set of programs designed to solidify cooperative bonds between the holy shrines and bolster religious and cultural initiatives in society.
