These preparations include a wide range of religious, cultural, doctrinal, and media programs designed for various segments of society, in order to celebrate this blessed occasion in a manner befitting its glory and status in the hearts of the believers. All departments and service teams will also participate with full readiness throughout the events.
Regarding the details of the programs, Wisam Iskandar, head of the “al-Nathm” Center for Strategic Planning and Development, stated in an interview with the News Center:
“Ghadir Week will witness a special press conference to announce the details of the programs prepared for this blessed occasion.”
He added that the Custodianship of the Holy Alawi Shrine held an official ceremony at the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), during which the blessed Ghadir flags were handed over to representatives of processions, institutions, organizations, and social groups so they may hold flag-raising ceremonies in designated locations.
It was also announced that more than 150 Ghadir flags will be raised inside and outside Iraq.
He further explained that the programs of Ghadir Week will include competitions, Quranic gatherings, remembrance assemblies, support initiatives for needy families, and special activities for children.
