As part of the “International Ghadir Week” programs, a delegation from the Alawi Holy Shrine, representing the Public Relations Department, presented the Ghadir Eid flag to the Holy Astan Quds Razavi in the city of Mashhad and also to the Shrine of Abdul Azim al-Hasani in Tehran—an initiative carried out to glorify and keep alive this blessed occasion.
Karrar al-Mousawi, head of the Internal Relations Unit, stated to the News Center:
“Continuing the preparatory programs for commemorating the great Eid of Ghadir, the Alawi Holy Shrine has arranged an international program to donate blessed flags to holy shrines inside and outside Iraq.”
He added:
“At these holy shrines, a number of officials welcomed the dispatched delegation and expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Alawi Holy Shrine, commending its extensive and continuous efforts in keeping religious occasions alive, particularly the special activities undertaken within the framework of commemorating Eid al-Ghadir.”
These programs, held on the occasion of the Great Divine Eid by the Alawi Holy Shrine, emphasize the Shrine’s ongoing efforts to revive this blessed occasion through comprehensive religious, cultural, and service programs—programs that help strengthen and promote the principles of Wilayah and the path and conduct of Amir al-Muminin Ali (peace be upon him).
