The Imam Ali Holy Shrine celebrated the distinguished participants and winners of its Quranic competition during the closing ceremony of its Qur’anic educational courses.
The Dar al-Quran Center, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Holy Shrine, organized the event as part of its periodic educational programs dedicated to outstanding students.
The competition aimed to identify and nurture Quranic talent. While assessing the academic level of participants enrolled in the center’s training courses.
Ala Muhsin, head of the Dar al-Quran Center, stated in an interview with the Shrine’s News Center:
“The ceremony was attended by Deputy Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine, Ihsan al-Ta’i, alongside members of the Board of Directors, department heads, representatives of the Quranic centers of the holy shrines, and a number of Quran scholars and instructors.”
He added:
“This competition is part of the Dar al-Quran’s continuous programs designed to support gifted students and encourage them to excel academically and spiritually through Quranic education.”
More than 120 students from the Dar al-Quran Center took part in the competition, 22 of whom qualified for the final round. At the conclusion of the event, the top three participants were honored for their excellence.
The competition forms part of the Holy Shrine’s ongoing efforts to promote Quranic culture, deepen spiritual understanding, and inspire a spirit of faith-based competition among young students. Held in an atmosphere filled with reverence and devotion, the event served as a meaningful step toward nurturing a Quran-centered generation and advancing the divine teachings of Islam.
