In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.”
It is with profound sorrow and deep grief that I received the news of the passing of my dear brother, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq al-Fayyadh (may Allah be pleased with him).
The late Grand Ayatollah was among the most distinguished figures of the Najaf Seminary in recent decades. He was renowned for his sincere efforts in serving knowledge and its seekers through his writings, teaching, and numerous scholarly endeavors.
His loss is immense, and the void left by his departure is great indeed. Filling that void will be difficult except through the grace and favor of Almighty Allah.
I extend my condolences for this great loss to the Supreme Leader, the religious seminaries, the family of the deceased, and all believers. I pray to Almighty Allah to elevate his rank in the highest levels of Paradise, to gather him with His chosen ones—Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and his pure and righteous household—and to grant his family and loved ones patience and perseverance.
There is no power and no strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Almighty.
