Within its framework to enhance organizational efficiency and foster professional capabilities, the Holy Shrine continues its training initiatives through the “al-Nathm” Center, part of the Strategic Planning and Development Unit. These programs are designed based on a strategic vision for career progression and administrative elevation, targeting various operational sectors within the Shrine.
Specialized Courses
Hasan Haidar, Head of the Training Unit at the center, explained that the first track is the “Annual Training Plan,” which includes a series of specialized courses for the Shrine’s staff. These courses aim to upgrade professional skills and improve organizational performance, tailored to the specific needs and expertise of each department.
Career Advancement
He added that the second track focuses on courses related to career promotion and progression, which are essential requirements for empowering personnel and developing their professional paths. He noted the commencement of several programs, including the “Excellence in Pilgrim Service” course, currently being held alongside other diverse specialized sessions.
The al-Alawi Institute Program
Regarding the third track, he stated that the Imam al-Hasan (peace be upon him) Complex hosts a series of training programs divided into two main categories. The first is the “Al-Alawi Institute Strategic Program,” which consists of five training camps targeting youth, cultural groups, and various institutions. Currently, the first camp of the program’s initial level is underway, held regularly every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday throughout the year. To date, 15 diverse training sessions have been conducted at this level.
Institutional Partnerships
The second category is dedicated to joint courses with governmental and academic entities. Within this framework, specialized workshops are organized in cooperation with official bodies, such as the Shia Endowment Office and several universities and institutes. These partnerships contribute to strengthening scientific synergy and the exchange of expertise across different sectors.

It is noteworthy that the Deputy Custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) has adopted a comprehensive strategic approach to cultivate a capable workforce that keeps pace with modern developments. This initiative ultimately leads to the improvement of services provided to pilgrims and the consolidation of long-term organizational advancement standards.
