Karrar al-Mousawi, head of the Internal Relations Department at the Public Relations Office of the Holy Alawi Shrine, stated in an interview with the News Center:
“Under the directives of the Custodianship of the Holy Alawi Shrine and within the framework of Ghadir Week programs, more than 150 blessed Ghadir flags will be raised during official ceremonies attended by delegations of servants of the Holy Alawi Shrine.”
He added:
“Inside Iraq, the flags will be raised at the holy shrines and sacred pilgrimage sites. In addition, 50 Ghadir flags will be raised in 20 different locations across Iraqi provinces in coordination with processions, institutions, organizations, and social groups.”
Al-Mousawi continued:
“Outside Iraq, the Ghadir flag will be raised in 20 Iranian provinces that were targeted by Zionist-American aggression. The blessed flag will also be raised in eight European countries, five U.S. states, and several other regions around the world.”
He emphasized that these ceremonies will be held in coordination with international media outlets and with both official and public participation.
Al-Mousawi also noted that the Custodianship of the Holy Alawi Shrine has directed official delegations to participate in the flag-raising ceremonies both inside and outside Iraq.
It is worth mentioning that the Custodianship of the Holy Alawi Shrine had previously handed over the blessed Ghadir flags to representatives of processions, institutions, and social organizations during an official ceremony held at the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), in preparation for holding the flag-raising ceremonies in the designated locations.
