The Pilgrim Hospitality Department has announced the preparation of over 100,000 blessed meals for the night and day of the blessed Eid al-Ghadir.

The Pilgrim Hospitality Department at the Holy Alawi Shrine has stated that more than 100,000 blessed meals have been prepared for distribution among pilgrims on the night and day of Eid al-Ghadir. These meals will be distributed to pilgrims at the central hospitality facility and other catering stations located around the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

Implementation of a Large-Scale Catering Plan

Miqdad al-Khirsan, from the Pilgrim Hospitality Department, said in an interview with the shrine’s News Center of the Holy Alawi Shrine:

“According to the directives of the administration of the Holy Alawi Shrine, an extensive plan has been developed to host the pilgrims, which includes the operation of several catering centers on the night and day of Eid al-Ghadir. All capacities have been mobilized to serve the multitudes of pilgrims visiting the shrine of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).”

Distribution of 250,000 Pieces of Cake

He added:

“Large dining tables will be set up in the courtyard of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her), and tens of thousands of meals will be distributed among the pilgrims throughout the night and day of Eid al-Ghadir. Additionally, a large cake measuring 2,000 meters in length has been prepared, which will be divided into 250,000 pieces on the night and day of Eid al-Ghadir and distributed to pilgrims in special packaging.”

Flowers, Gifts, and Beverages for Pilgrims

He also noted:

“The services provided are not limited to food distribution. Bouquets of fresh flowers and special gifts have also been prepared for the pilgrims on the occasion of this great religious festival. Furthermore, a variety of fruit juices, cold and hot beverages will be continuously available to pilgrims throughout the days of visitation, ensuring that services are delivered at the highest level of readiness and order.”

It is worth mentioning that these preparations are part of the programs of the Holy Alawi Shrine to commemorate Eid al-Ghadir in the most magnificent manner possible and to accommodate the massive presence of pilgrims – a program that, utilizing an integrated service system, seeks to provide the best services to the esteemed pilgrims.
