As part of the International Ghadir Week programs, the Holy Alawi Shrine organized the flag-raising ceremony for the blessed Eid al-Ghadir in Baghdad Province—specifically at Al-Mustansiriya University and Ghadir Square—in cooperation with the Kafeel Zainab Foundation and the Al-Askariyayn (peace be upon them) Commission.
The ceremony was attended by a delegation from the Holy Alawi Shrine headed by board member Haydar al-Isawi, along with a number of religious and social figures and a large crowd of believers.
This event coincided with the implementation of the blessed Ghadir flag-raising project at over 150 locations inside Iraq and in other countries around the world—a project carried out with the aim of honoring the Eid of Wilayah and renewing the covenant and loyalty to Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).
