Donation of the Ghadir Flag to the Shrine of Lady Masumah and Jamkaran Mosque

A delegation from the Alawi Holy Shrine donated the flag of the blessed Eid of Ghadir to the Shrine of Lady Masumah (peace be upon her) and Jamkaran Mosque.

As part of the International Ghadir Week programs, a delegation from the Alawi Holy Shrine, representing the Public Relations Department, donated the flag of the blessed Eid of Ghadir to the custodianship of the Holy Shrine of Lady Masumah (peace be upon her) and Jamkaran Mosque in the holy city of Qom, to be raised on the eve of the Greatest Eid of Allah.

Karrar al-Mousawi, head of the Internal Relations Unit, stated to the shrine’s News Center:

“The blessed Ghadir flag was handed over in the presence of a number of shrine officials to Sayed Hossaininejad, advisor to the custodianship of the Shrine of Lady Masumah (peace be upon her). During this meeting, discussions took place regarding the preparations and special programs to commemorate this auspicious occasion.”

Al-Mousawi added:

“Furthermore, the delegation was received at Jamkaran Mosque by the custodianship of the mosque, Sayed Aghajannejad. The Ghadir flag was presented to him, and discussions were also held regarding joint programs and activities.”

He emphasized that the delegation, continuing its journey according to a predetermined plan, will also travel to Tehran and the holy city of Mashhad.

The International Ghadir Week programs for the year 1447 AH, organized by the Alawi Holy Shrine on the occasion of the Greatest Eid of Allah on the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah, are part of ongoing efforts to keep this blessed occasion alive through various religious, cultural, and service programs—programs that play a role in spreading the culture of Wilayah and elucidating the conduct of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) both inside and outside Iraq.
