As part of the programs of the 15th edition of the International Ghadir Week for the year 1447 AH, the Holy Alawi Shrine held the ceremony of raising the flag of the blessed Eid of Ghadir in Diwaniyah Province, with wide attendance of officials, social figures, and a large number of people.
This ceremony was held in commemoration of the Eid of the Guardianship (Wilayah) of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) and with the aim of promoting the concepts of guardianship, loyalty, solidarity, and keeping the eternal message of Ghadir alive among different generations.
It is worth mentioning that the ceremony of raising the flag of Ghadir is considered among the most important programs of Ghadir Week, and this ceremony is to be held in 150 locations across Iraq and other countries of the world, including the holy shrines , noble pilgrimage sites, and main squares and centers of cities. This initiative is carried out in line with honoring the exalted station of Eid al-Ghadir and renewing the covenant with the guardianship of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).
