Coinciding with the days of the Decade of Imamate and Wilayah and in order to honor the great Eid of Ghadir Khumm, the largest flag of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him) was hoisted by the efforts of the Alawi Holy Shrine atop the tallest flagpole in the Middle East, in the city of Tehran. This magnificent ceremony was held with the presence of a number of officials, pilgrims, and devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
