As part of the programs of the Fifteenth Week of Ghadir in the year 1447 AH, the Holy Alawi Shrine, through its Dar al-Qur’an, held a magnificent gathering in the Holy Alawi Shrine.
This program was held with the aim of elucidating the profound connection between the event of Ghadir and the Noble Qur’an, and introducing the verses of the Blessed Surah al-Ma’idah that relate to the appointment of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (peace be upon him).
This Qur’anic gathering was met with a wide reception from pilgrims, and a number of Qur’an students and members of the Dar al-Qur’an were also in attendance. The program was held in order to spread the Qur’anic culture and to institutionalize the concepts and messages of the blessed Eid of Ghadir among various segments of society.
