The Alawi Holy Shrine, through the advertising workshop affiliated with the Department of Engineering and Construction Affairs, has commenced the installation of Ghadir banners for the great Eid of Ghadir. This initiative is part of the preparations to commemorate this blessed occasion and to welcome the pilgrims who are coming to the city of Najaf Ashraf.
Engineer Ali Ismail, head of the Advertising Unit, stated to shrine’s the News Center:
“The workshop has so far begun installing approximately one thousand square meters of Ghadir banners, and simultaneously, activities are continuing to prepare and install additional Ghadir banners covering an area between 1,600 and 2,000 square meters to complete the special program for this occasion.”
He added:
“These Ghadir banners will be installed and distributed around the Holy Alawi Shrine, the main entrances leading to the shrine, as well as in various locations throughout the city of Najaf Ashraf. The aim of this initiative is to ensure that the city’s appearance aligns with the grandeur of this occasion and its spiritual atmosphere.”
These measures are part of the ongoing efforts of the Alawi Holy Shrine to revive this blessed occasion through integrated religious, cultural, and service programs—programs that help establish and promote the path and conduct of Amir al-Muminin (peace be upon him).
