Within the framework of special preparations to commemorate the great Eid of Ghadir and to hold the programs of “International Ghadir Week,” a delegation from the Alawi Holy Shrine, headed by board member Haydar al-Isawi and including representatives from the Public Relations Department, visited the holy shrine of the two Imams of Kadhimayn (peace be upon them) and delivered the blessed flag of Eid al-Ghadir to the custodianship of the Holy Shrine of al-Kadhimayn.
During this ceremony, Hamid Zaki Hamid, a board member of the Holy Shrine of Kadhimayn, along with a group of servants from the Public Relations Department, welcomed and greeted the guest delegation.
During this meeting, discussions were held regarding ways of cooperation and continuous coordination between the holy shrines—cooperation that strengthens efforts in serving the pilgrims of the pure Imams (peace be upon them) and contributes to the success of religious and cultural programs held on blessed occasions.
The two sides also emphasized the importance of synergy, exchange of experiences, and unity of efforts based on shared goals derived from the values of Wilayah, love for the Ahl al-Bayt, and the authentic teachings of the noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), in order to elevate the level of services provided to the honorable pilgrims.
The ceremony of delivering the Ghadir flag is part of a series of programs that the Alawi Holy Shrine is implementing on the occasion of the approaching great Eid of Ghadir.
